EVIDENCE BASED MODELS OF TREATMENT
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.
COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a common type of talk therapy (psychotherapy). CBT helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.
INTERPERSONAL THERAPY
Interpersonal therapy (IPT) is a method of treating depression. IPT is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on you and your relationships with other people. It's based on the idea that personal relationships are at the center of psychological problems. Depression isn't always caused by an event or a relationship.

NO SURPRISES ACT INFORMATION
A new consumer protection law called "The No Surprises Act" went into effect on January 1, 2022. Here's the notice I have to give you about the law:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
